One of the interesting features of Coca-Cola’s television commercials is their use of multiple story lines. This commercial, featuring the iconic Coca-Cola polar bears watching football, will be worth watching for because its ending will be dependant on the game itself.

This print, created by Grey Group for Schweppes International, depicts an anthropomorphic masculine caricature (an illustrated bottle of whiskey with arms) laying on its back in a garage servicing an antique roadster while a feminine caricature (a bottle of Schweppes’s Ginger Ale with a mini-skirt) leans over the front of the car. While a Whiskey/Ginger Ale “Highball” is nothing new or “interesting” as the tagline suggests, the wildly creative take on such a common mixed drink is nothing short of extraordinary.

This print, created by Grey Group for Schweppes International, depicts an anthropomorphic masculine caricature (an illustrated bottle of Schweppes Tonic Water dressed as a rock star) boarding a private aircraft to meet a female caricature (a bottle of Gin dressed as a flight attendant). The female character’s hand sits poised in front of the bottle’s cap as if to suggest she is quietly saying “oh dear!” While Gin & Tonics are a very common mixed drink, Grey Group has done a great job in making this ad memorable.

Tree on the Coke Side of Life features the silhouette of a contoured Coke bottle in red, flowing up into a tree with a number of furry creatures all enjoying a Coke as the sun sets behind them.

Surf on the Coke Side of Life features a classic image of a woman on a surfboard with the silhouette of a tropical scene and illustrated sunset behind her. The wave is of course, a splash of Coca Cola spraying out from a contoured Coke bottle.

This ad features a real image of a contoured Coke bottle from which presents a cast of classic television and/or movie stars in various poses and clothing who are all enjoying a Coke. This ad is a bit different than most of the other “Coke side of Life” ads in that it has a textured background, real coke bottle image, and wider range of colors.
